WHOA. Hold on. These trails are a LONG WAY from being approved. There are LOTS of obstacles and Red Tape to clear before we can even think of starting to build these trails.
We need to iron out some issues with Forestry, Alex from Glacier House, the Mtn bike guys, and others, before we get too excited.
Yes, thank you to all that have helped, but there is still a ton of work yet to do before these trails are a reality.

Awesome Brent, Chris and everyone involved.

Hope to ride your new trail network next year (or sooner!).

Also we are booking our World Freeride weekend at Revy, maybe see you guys then for a cold one.

Cheers,

Hi Casey, Was out at the flats today, 12 mile. Lots of water like Brent says. Still possible to ride on some of the roads but the play areas are all submerged. At 6 mile it looks like on creek to get accross so that you can head back towards town. But it is changing daily so it is a little hit and miss right now.
Good luck,
Mike

Hey Casey,
The flats are geting flooded out fast. There may still be some riding down by 6 mile, I havent been out there for a while. If you ride around the frisbee and boulder area, there is some singletrack there and more being built this year. If you are interested in helping establish and build some trails contact Chris Pawlitsky. We are going to organise a fun work party to get things going. When riding around boulder try to stay off the mountain bike trails. We are going to have some trail maps made soon, it's just hard to get things going when there are only a few people doing it ! There is also some good riding south of Revelstoke in the Akokolex area.

Just wondering we were thinking of going riding in Revelstoke are the flats still rideable or is the water too high now? are there other areas to ride? any single track stuff? any advice would be appreciated as we have no idea where to go. Thanks Casey

As you can clearly see, motorcycle suspension tuning is very technical work. It is always best left to professionals. If you can't find one, bring it to Infinite Powersports and I'm sure I could sort it out!!! Let's ride!!

Hey Derek, Great site, thanks for setting it up. If you want some riding pics, I have some from some races this summer and some kids riding shots as well. Give me a call if you want some.
Cheers Mike

This is nuts. Is there anywhere we CAN go ? Too many user groups out there and not enough space to do it all.
